Hacienda Uayamón
This beautiful place is a paradise for bird watchers. In every season, different bird species stop at the hacienda for you to appreciate their beauty and colours.
Back in the 16th century, Uayamón was already known as a cattle ranch It was later ravaged several times by English pirates. Over the years, the hacienda was sold to the Carvajal family.
The hacienda included, among other buildings the Main House, the chapel, the charity hospital, a cemetery, a school, irrigation systems, workshops, worker’s houses, the engine rooms and the hacienda’s own railroad.
Today, all of theses spaces have been preserved and are used to provide different services.
Enjoy the particular charms and comfort of each room, a beautiful view, a cave, or a garden to rest.

How to Get here?
As you leave the Campeche airport, turn to your left on the arbour, This Avenue will lead you to highway no. 180 from Campeche to Merida. At the crossroads, turn to your left towards Mérida. About 600 meters from there, take the road to Edzná. When you reach km. 13.5, turn to your right. Approximately 11 km after that you will see the military camp known as “El Porvenir” and 500 meters after that, you will see the detour to the Hacienda Uayamón and the town bearing the same name. turn to your right and a few minutes later you will be at the hacienda entrance.
Blanca Flor Hacienda
Remaining of an old hacienda, which lands were sceneries of violent events
during the revolution. Nowadays it only remains the entrance and front yard of
what once was the main house. Today, this Hacienda works as a Hotel, located
north Campeche, km 63 on highway 180.
Santa Cruz Hacienda
Calkini
10 km west of Nunkini, on the road to Tankuche. This hacienda used to be an
henequen field, built in 1866, with a written stone with that date which was kept
in the chapel. It still remains its beauty. What first keeps the attention is
its wide central yard (garden). It also remains the facade of the hacienda, the
engine room, and the storage room. We can also see the chapel of “El Santo
Cristo del Amor” (Love Christ), which presents a bell gable and the original
orchard of the hacienda, where nowadays jipi palm is grown.
San Luis Carpizo Hacienda
Champoton
It was a very important hacienda in the area, located 8km from the city,
through the Champoton highway-Aguada Island. Thanks to its geographic location
and the fertile land from which agricultural products were gotten from. Today,
it is occupied by the Navy.
Tankuche Hacienda
Calkini
Located around 23km Norwest Nunkini, through the road to Santa Cruz and San
Nicolas. This hacienda has a French style, simulating a medieval fortress.
A very wide central garden can be appreciated, and west the main house; south
the engine room is located.
In the left side there is the tower, which worked as a view point, today it is
almost demolished. This site is currently in bad conditions, but we must
remember that it was an important henequen production centre.
