Handcrafts

Visitors to Mazatlán will enjoy the sights of beautiful handcrafts. A walk through the central market will reveal street vendors displaying their wares. Souvenirs are abundant such as t-shirts, hats, oversized Mexican sombreros, and wooden sculptures. Your exploring may bring you to La Casa Indio, a very impressive silver store selling all types of jewelry and other Mexican souvenirs. Up the street at La Casa Antigua is the next stop where you can purchase handcrafts through the house's rooms that are set up like a museum. Feel free to bargain with the vendor’s on price since it is expected. An interesting place to drop in is definitely “Los Tianguis” which is a used goods bazaar located in Juarez. You can virtually buy anything you want here, but be careful about buying souvenirs that will be to big to fit in the airplane!
