La Entrega Beach, Bahía Santa Cruz
Huatulco was the scene of a historical event that was the result of a power struggle in the country after it became independent. In 1831, Vicente Guerrero was captured and taken to this beach aboard the brigantine El Colombo. He was then taken to Oaxaca to be shot.
