The Algodones Beach

Called Algodones (cotton balls) because of the delicate texture of its white sand, the Algodones beach is a great attraction in San Carlos that offers diving, sailing, windsurfing and many other activities.

The average temperature varies from 31C in the spring to 18C in the winter. The vegetation that surrounds the beach is principally desert and stand out cactus, ‘sahuaros’ and small bushes. Its fauna is composed by aquatic birds and small ornamental birds.

During the holiday season like Holy Week and summer this beach is ideal to practice sports. Along the beach you can appreciate attractive hotels and residential developments.

San Francisco Beach

One of the most crowded and extensive of the zone; its soft waves are perfect for families, boat trips, snorkel and kayaks.

Piedras Pinta Beach

The absence of tourist infrastructure makes it very attractive for those seeking to a relaxing swim. It is also great from scuba diving and snorkelling.
