SCUBA DIVING
The bay of San Carlos is well known around the world for its excellent diving. Its calmed and crystal waters, the beautiful underwater views full of lights, and caves make this place a great paradise for sports lovers.
This destination also has two artificial reefs: a tuna catching boat “Albatun” and “Presidente Diaz Ordaz” ferry, located 30 minutes from the bay and 20 meters deep.

Jacques Cousteau named the Sea of Corte z “The aquarium of the World”. It is home of 40% of the sea mammals species that exist in the World, and one third of the total species of cetaceans. It is also the only place in the World where submarine cascades of sand are found.
The Sea of Cortez has 244 islands and coasts in the states of Baja California Sur, Sonora, Sinaloa and Nayarit. It contains 4,500 known species of marine invertebrates, 181 species of birds and 695 of plants.
