Bird Watching

Bird Watching -- In San Jose del Cabo, the "estero": or the estuary is a beautiful oasis considered as the only bird sanctuary on the Baja Peninsula. The estuary is surrounded by a variety of palm trees and lush vegetation. Bird watchers will find themselves captivated by more than 150 birds and waterfowl. The ever present frigate bird and brown pelican are a constant reminder that the seas surrounding Los Cabos are teaming with hundreds of varieties of fish, turtles and sea mammals.

Although Los Cabos has experienced tremendous growth over the last decade, it is largely untouched and lightly populated. To insure the partnership with Mother Nature continues, every Los Cabos development project must submit an ecological impact study before construction.
