PUERTO ESCONDIDO:
This port is Loreto's gateway to the Sea of Cortez. It is by far the largest, natural marina in Mexico - affording a safe haven for a multitude of power and sail boats, and it is an integral part of the Master Plan: Loreto-Nopolo-Puerto Loreto development.

SEA OF CORTEZ
This maritime bonanza is a unique ocean environment formed millions of years ago when Baja California slid westward due to geological activity in the San Andreas fault. And, due to its positioning, Loreto has the enviable reputation as having the BEST SPORTS FISHING in all of Mexico.

FIVE ISLANDS

CAVE PAINTINGS
Between Loreto and Bahia de Los Angeles lies the Sierra de San Francisco, home to a collection of extraordinary aboriginal cave paintings. Estimates date them to be 1,000 to 1,500 years old!
